Tri-Valley CAREs’ Executive Director Scott Yundt and our former Executive Director (current Senior Advisor) Marylia Kelley, were recently invited on the popular East Bay Yesterday podcast. (Which also airs on KPFA radio.) The discussion focused on the history of Livermore Lab and its impacts on the community. We also talked about the impacts to workers, and there is an interview with a former worker, Sherry Pratt, talking first-hand about her experience as an employee working in a building at the Lab where many employees got cancer. We then touch on  the Lab’s ramp up of nuclear weapons activities, threats associated with the growing nuclear arms race, and finally, how people can get involved. Take a listen and share it with your friends!
