Environmental Justice
Tri-Valley CAREs works to achieve cleanup of the poisonous legacy of past nuclear weapons activities – and to safeguard communities from the environmental and health threats posed by current and planned nuclear weapons programs. Our efforts have won cleanup of some of the most polluted areas on earth, including at Livermore Lab. We believe access to clean water, air and land is a human right. We advocate on behalf of exposed workers, community members and the larger environment in which we all live.

Lethal Nuclear Legacies
Part of the hidden history of nuclear weapons involves the massive toxic and radioactive contamination that accompanies nuclear development, at Livermore Lab in the San Francisco Bay Area, throughout the U.S. nuclear weapons complex, and in other nations.
