The Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) is in the process of preparing a new Site-Wide Environmental Impact Statement (SWEIS) for Continued Operation of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. The SWEIS will analyze the potential environmental impacts of the reasonable alternatives for continuing Livermore Laboratory operations through 2035.
The SWEIS will affect the Lab’s nuclear operations for the next 15 years. We will offer info & tips to prepare for the public comment period that will follow release of the SWEIS.
