DESCRIPTION:Save the Date – Weds. 12/6\nCelebrate Tri-Valley CAREs 40th Anniversary!\n2023 marks 40 years since a dedicated group of Livermore and Tracy residents gathered around a kitchen table and decided to form a watchdog organization. It was 1983\, and this group believed that the super-secret programs to develop new nuclear weapons being done in their communities by the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory should be exposed\, publicly debated and resisted by the very people its contamination affected. So\, Tri-Valley CAREs was born. \nNow\, in 2023\, it is time for us to gather\, reflect on our 40 years of accomplishments\, and look forward to our bright future together. A more formal invitation with details will come in a few weeks\, but for now – save the date!
